This is a 1.5 hour boat tour leaving from Caherciveen Marina and into the Fertha river, as we proceed down-river passing Ballycarbery Castle ruin’s on our right and Church island and Beginish island on our left hand side and then on to the open waters of Dingle Bay.
Soak up the sights as we get up close and personal with this beautiful stretch of the Kerry coastline from Dolus head to Cuascrome harbour, one of the Western Union sites connecting Ireland to the United States circa 1874 to 1877.
Then heading westerly, taking in the sights of Valentia Coastguard station and Slate quarry and then passing Cromwell point lighthouse, Glanleam beach, Knightstown and back up the river towards the old Barracks and the spectacular Great Southern Railway Bridge.
